DEPARTMENT OF MBA

After its founding in 1999, CERT, Meerut, the Department of Management Studies at CERT, Meerut was established in the year 2006. It offers MBA program approved by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Lucknow (formally UPTU, Lucknow). The MBA programme is a two-year full time Post Graduate programme that consists of four semesters The objective of the program is to develop analytical and strategic decision making skills and to make the students proactive, innovative and competitive to face the multi dimensional challenges in the business environment and develop a vision and plans for achieving goals. This programme facilitates learning in theory and practice of different functional areas of management and equips the students with an integrated approach to various functions of management. However, the demand for managerial skills is not limited to the industry. Managerial talent is much sought by the Government Sector, NGOs, non-corporate sector, and entrepreneurs as well.

The programme aims at moulding students into effective managers by providing them with courses reinforced with multi-faceted inputs of management education using state-of-the-art methods of training and active industry interface. It seeks to develop the students understanding of how the key elements and dynamic processes of business organizations relate to one another and to the external environment. Programme requirements are designed to develop your proficiency and confidence in all of the functional areas of business and to provide scholars with the technical skills required for executive level business positions in today’s competitive business environment. The programme prepares a student for a domestics and global careers in diverse sectors of the industry.

PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION LAB

Digital multilingual interactive language lab platform software is used for improving the professional communication skills of students on weekly basis. The task of the laboratory is to attain proficiency and a command of written and spoken English which is the root of professional career around the world. For MBA students professional skills are very important, to improve their communication skills this type of lab plays a vital role. Numerous audio-visual aids, software and literature are available to enhance proficiency in the English language to develop our student’s communication skills, which help them to develop their personality to meet the challenging requirements of future managers globally.

Computer lab is intensively used for the short time live projects for better exposure.
